My 8 month old can take the objects out, enjoys chewing on and slapping the textured pieces together. No choking risk, likes shaking the square, very colorful. Good toy for little minds. Every baby should have this. Very light weight and bright colors.

A little smaller than I had expected but the kiddo still loves playing with this thing almost a year later. Most the things it came with have gone missing at this point so I often find a bunch of small random objects and toys put into the prison cube as I have affectionately dubbed it. Found our car keys in there a couple times, which have plenty of heft to them and the elastic bands seem to have no issues holding them.
This is such a great developmental toy for 8 months to 14 months. My baby loves putting things in it and shaking it. Great for cause and effect
