Bought for sauce while smoking meats. Seems well made, decent heft. Basting brush holds sauce, that works well. If you have a deep grill, you may want to consider something with a longer handle or use a glove. I’d buy it again.

I’ve had this brush & sauce pot for a couple of years. I’ve been filling and refilling without thinking to wash it after all this time (oh yeah, I’m embarrassed.) So imagine my shock that the oil was still clean tasting and useable! The pot/brush handle is moderately thick steel; the brush head is silicone and also moderately thick. In the presence of oil, the heavy weight of each forces a much better adherence between brush lid and container. I did, however, clean them in the dishwasher and they turned out very well. Caution: some dishwasher detergents have too much perfume which is not appropriate for flavoring food.
