My 3.5 and 1.5 year olds both love this toy! We have had this toy for 5 months and used it on a regular basis in our home, on road trips, and during plane travel.
Pros: it keeps my children entertained while working on their fine motor skills and teaching to concept of cause and effect. The wooden base is durable and light. The battery is a AAA and the battery space is behind the yellow and black panel at the top and is secured with a screw for added safety.
Cons: I believe it requires monitored play with young children who still tend to put toys in their mouth. The string could be chewed through and become a chocking hazard. It also may not be safe for little ones to chew on the blue wire. Also, there is no master off switch.
